Things To Do On Texada Island:

If your perfect vacation includes outdoor activities or sports Texada Island
offers a multitude of opportunities to enjoy them.
The island is very large and has a range of ecological zones that make Texada a bird-watcher's paradise
with over 200 resident and transient species.

There are no predators or poisonous snakes on the island,
so you can safely enjoy pursuing outdoor pleasures such as:

Road at Pocahontas Bay
Road at Pocahontas Bay
  • beachcombing
  • exploring
  • back-packing
  • cycling
  • climbing
  • hiking

For the golfers there is a putting green, 9-hole golf course and a clubhouse.

The area is a boater's dream with lakes and bays to explore by kayak, canoe and power boat.
Many of the lakes have cutthroat trout if you're in the mood to cast a fly and try your luck.
Local waters are perfect for sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving and swimming and the scenery is breathtaking.

MOORAGE is available (with power for a nominal fee, if you need it) just a heartbeat away
at Sturt (Marble) Bay with very reasonable rates for overnight stays.
